Jonah the super hero!!

Jonah the world's smallest super hero is off to save the world! He can't do this without drinking liquid energy first..now he can bring it on and fight one disaster at a time! Or should I call him the pant less super hero...the world hopes he puts his pants on first.

Poor Poor Noeeeh

Noah has had two rough days. Yesterday he had an allergy test on his back. The test came back inconclusive. So today we had some blood drawn at a nearby lag. He got a super hero band-aid because he did so well. Jonah got two Cars stickers (McQueen and Mater). We will know more later about the tests. They did rule out peanuts so Jonah had his first PBJ which he loved!

Who would have thought????

I would be raising of all things a very organized child. Jonah loves order. He must be getting this trait form daddy. He lines up all shoes he can find in rows, he lines his cars up from biggest to smallest, he brings me any dirt he finds (including dog hair and says Yuck!!). His newest thing is to point out any spit ups from Noah. He calls them throw ups. This morning he pointed one out and made me clean it very quickly..which I did with my sock. I then walked around with only one sock. This annoyed Jonah so he walked up to me and took the sock off my foot and promptly threw it in the laundry room.
Other news we bought a wii and I love it. I'll post a picture of Josh boxing soon. He really looks funny!!! I of course look quite normal!! Well, Josh laughs at me because I get extremely frustrated when I can't hit the ball in baseball. Grandma Connie when you come out in two weeks I'll teach you to bowl.
I told Andrew I had a picture of him holding Jonah where he was crying hard. I posted it for him so he could see it.

upswing????
Noah is no longer having horribly high fevers. He is still tired and very fussy..I imagine the blisters in his mouth hurt quite badly. He threw up yesterday also but hasn't for almost 24 hours. He is beginning to eat. He wakes up long enough to drink a little, eat a little, scream alot, and then promptly go back to sleep. Jonah is in a tad better mood. He is no longer throwing up but the other day I changed his diaper 20 times..needless to say he has a horrible diaper rash. My knees are the same because I slipped twice..but I know they are only extremely sore. Josh is doing worse he can now add puffy eyes from allergies to his list.It sounds bad but at least the boys are doing a little better...hopefully by next week we can leave the house!

sick, sick, and sicker
The Hinman house is crazy right now. I have hurt both knees and can barely walk upstairs. Josh has thrown his back out so badly he is walking crooked. Noah has foot, hand, and mouth virus. He has a temp of 103.5 right now and had little blisters in his mouth. They are supposed to spread to his feet and hands. This can last for quite some time. Jonah has had diarrhea for two days and a bad rash on his face. He slept with Josh tonight (I was with Noah). Josh woke up with his pillow, Jonah, and the bed covered in vomit. I think tomorrow is going to be a tough day..considering I'm blogging at 3 am.

update on boys!

We had well checks for both boys today. Of course we received clean bills of health for both of them. Jonah is on track both verbally and physically. He was quite a bit bigger then I thought weighing in at 33 pounds and almost 3 feet. He is in the 75 percentile for height and 90 percentile for weight..As for Noah we had a little different situation. He weighed in at 17.8 pounds. He was in the 75 percentile for height and 20 percentile for weight. He also have been referred to an allergist for him considering he is allergic to three things already.

Fun with Andrew

Andrew visited us and we have had a great time. The first day we went to the zoo. We were there for 3 hours and only saw half of the zoo. It was great and the animals were amazing. The next day we went to an ice cream shop that has a fun indoor play area..Jonah played for a very long time. We also met Josh for lunch. Today we went on a candy tour and then the mall because it has a great play area. Jonah once again played hard. Oh yeah we also have watched alot of cars!!

Stealing a great idea!
I don't plan on doing this very often (though I am a thankful person). I am stealing an idea from my sister-in-law because I feel overwhelmed with thanks right now. I find it interesting that during times that are more difficult is when you realize how thankful you are for Gods many blessings. I was thinking this as I was trying to nap so I decided to blog about it (because it is worthy of blogging and because the decision helped me to fall asleep..which was badly needed!!)
1. Josh...he was gone this week and I missed him so much. I am very thankful he is back!
2. His hardwork..it is amazing to be married to someone who wants to provide well for his family. He works hard at home (which I appreciate immensely) but he also works hard outside the home all to provide for us. He strives to be successful..I love this trait (I love many more traits too).
3. Help..Jonah is becoming such a helper. He gives Noah toys, he gets me a diaper for Noah (not himself..he still hates to be changed)but the biggest help his how he loves to entertain Noah...if Noah is upset Jonah jumps, dances, and quacks at him to make him laugh.Noah loves the quacking the most!
4. Happiness..even when I'm down my kids are not. They can drag me out of any mood. Jonah yells the word Happy all day and Noah is the sweetest happiest baby I've ever seen.
5. Church..we have found a church that I love. I am learning lots and the programs are great. I have been trying to get involved by inviting others over and attending bible study..which I have loved. It is amazing that you can find people who love you and you love so far from home!
6. technology...I call this skyping because that is the program used on the computer. We skype my parents and sister on a daily basis. The boys can see them and they can see the boys. It is wonderful and we look forward to it everyday!! Yeah for webcams..if anyone has one inform me...I would love to see others from home too.
7. Cars...Jonah is obsessed with cars. He loves the movie and cars in general. Big cars, yellow cars, red cars, big truck, red truck, tractor and so on. The movie has given me hours of peace. This is what I do if he doesn't nap (which the day after I put a comment on Sarah's blog about his wonderful napping schedule he decided he was done!). The movie works perfect. I put him in his booster seat and have him watch. Hey I need to find a way to clean and do laundry and I can put the movie in when Noah goes down so I can actually have a child free moment!
8. Lastly, beauty. It is quite beautiful here with the trees and flowers in bloom. This is a beauty different from Washington and I enjoy it.
Ok...now I can tell you that I had a great nap!!
