We had a wonderful time celebrating Jesus' birth!

Holly Ridge

Holly Ridge, the facility where Noah is going to get therapy had their Christmas party today. I decided to go even though we haven't started yet. It was good because I met his teacher and para educator running his playgroup and I had a chance to talk to our Family resource coordinator.

It was a lot of fun too!! We walked in and followed the footsteps to Santa. Where you get a professional picture, a book, and a candy cane. We then followed more footsteps to a tree were each boy received a present and a stuffed animal. Afterwards, we went and got some food, colored a little, and listened to music. Noah loved shaking a tamborine to the Christmas music!!

Little Angels

Last night was the Christmas program at church. The boys had a great time and were adorable. Noah really liked walking up and down the bleachers!!

Celebrate Jesus

Tonight we went to a live Nativity scene. There was 18 different scenes depicting the life of Jesus. It was fantastically well done. We loved it!

Jonah!

Jonah's class had a party today. He was sent home with many gifts..some to be opened on Christmas. He was also sent home with Christmas crafts!! How cute!!

Fun with T!!

On Wednesday we went to Chuckee Cheese with Tanya and Jake. The boys and I had a blast!!! There is a booth were they take you picture then sketch you!!

Cookies

Today we decorated Christmas cookies with Auntie Anna. The boys had a blast!!!Tonight we are going to a party for YFC. It will be lots of fun!!

Oye!

Pictures from the Oye/Hinman VK!

good times!

This weekend we went to the ocean with the Oye family. It was a lot of fun!!! We played, went to the interpretive center, made a gingerbread house, played cards, bundled and went to the ocean, and took a long walk (Cara and I got lost!). It was very nice to spend time with old and dear friends. I will post pictures later.

Update on Noah:
Today we went to the developmental Pediatrician. He was very encouraged by what he saw. We discussed the improvements I have seen in Noah recently. Noah was quite interactive and in a great mood. The doctor is going to recommended developmental playgroups and some speech therapy. Noah will then go to developmental preschool. The doctor took both diagnosis discussed earlier off the table and is stating that all Noah has is a speech delay (which he thinks will greatly improve over the next year). The two diagnosis aren't completely off the table..we will learn more as therapy increases. If Noah doesn't do well in the playgroups we will have to reassess him but the doctor was very encouraged that he would do quite well. He also stated that Holly Ridge (the Bremerton Mary Bridge is better suited for his needs).

Update on Jonah:
doing quite well on the potty..still some accidents. He did #2 twice today!!!! Yeah!!!

Oh Christmas tree!

I let Jonah decorate the tree (mostly) by himself. All the ornaments are on the bottom and on one side. As Noah undecorates the tree I am slowly filling in the top. Jonah had a blast...so much so that he decorated my mom's tree today.
