Snowy day

What a beautiful day in the snow. Jonah and the dog loved playing in it. Noah was indifferent but adorable all bundled up. Jonah ran all over the back yard with a huge grin on his face. I was surprised at how much he enjoyed it.

Straight to sippy cup

As you all know we have been struggling to get Noah on a bottle. He has taken a bottle once a month ago but has refused since (it wasn't even a full feeding). Tonight we decided to see if he would take a sippy cup. It was successful..he ate a full feeding and was very excited about the cup. We think it is because Jonah drinks out of a big boy cup. The best thing was that after awhile we didn't even have to hold the cup for Noah. If this continues we may get to go out next weekend without the kids....sounds so nice!!!!

Yummy to my Tummy

Due to flying across the country in two weeks to look at houses we decided to start Noah on baby food a little early (it is only 2 weeks earlier then I like). Most Doctors say that you should wait until your baby is 6 months old. He will be on Feb. 14th so we thought why not..maybe the flight will be easier if I have more then 1 way to feed him (considering he won't take a bottle again).

He ate half a jar. He wasn't excited about peas as he was about rice cereal. He gave quite a few ewwww looks. I'm proud of him for trying!

Jonah is funny!!

Jonah's new favorite word is Josh. He says Dada..Josh. It is really cute. We also gave up trying to get him to say grandma (he says grandpa but refuses to say grandma) so my mom taught him to say Connie. We have been working on Diana but that is a little harder. If he says this then he has made both grandma and auntie happy!! We continue to work on him saying Tina. Max is quite a bit easier to say!!

Ocean Fun!!

The boys are playing together! Even though we will live in Ohio soon we will always be Washingtonians at heart. Here Jonah is wearing a Husky outfit and a Mariners hat.
Grandma please read us a book, then talk to the moose, and hide in the closet. Beware of the dog he may give you a bloody nose.

Jacob play date

Noah had a fun play date today. He had a great time smiling and squealing. He visited his buddy Jacob while Tanya and I talked. It was fun!!! Jonah stayed back with grandma and went to McDonald's. He got a fun toy in his happy meal.

Well we missed evening service............

As I stated in an earlier post big trouble comes in small Jonah sized packages. We went to my parents for dinner and discussion about the move. We ate and were beginning to pack up for church. My mom and Jonah decided to play for a little bit longer..which was fine because we had the time. Jonah slammed his bedroom door and promptly locked himself in the room. After an hour of trying to get Jonah to open the door, entertaining him through the outside window to distract him, trying to open the door with a hanger and a credit card, drilling a hole, and chiseling the frame out Jonah was finally freed!!!! He was very shaken up but gratefully not hurt. Today it wasn't so funny but I'm sure we will laugh about it later!!! He looks quite innocent in this above picture but he is not!!!

Jumperoo I love you!!!

We borrowed Mom and Mikes's jumperoo to see if Noah would like it. He has enjoyed it but would just sit in it and look around. Today he learned how to really jump in it. He laughed and giggled while jumping for quite sometime. It was very cute. He is finally napping so I'll post a picture later!!

Good bye crib...hello snooz n cruise

Jonah fell out of his crib a week ago so we found a cute toddler bed on Craigslist. we have tried to have him sleep in it but so far all he wants to do is play. He loves it though. He gets very excited everytime he sees it!!

Jonah was having a difficult time letting Noah have his own chair so we bought him his own big boy chair. This he loves. He reads books in it and moves it around the house. He likes to loungs like daddy in it.

More Firsts!!!

While Josh was away on a work trip I went to the Ocean with my parents. We had a great time swimming at the community center, walking on the beach, and playing close the box. While we were there both my children had a first!! Jonah copied grandma and ate his chinese food with chop sticks...of course he was unsuccessful but boy was it cute!!! Noah finally took a bottle. We have been trying everyday for over six weeks for him to drink from the bottle. I am excited to report that he did!!! What a blessing for Josh and I.

Oh and Jonah said a lot of new words. Here are some of them Elmo, moose, boots, beach, Mollie, woof, eye, three, and boo shoe (just like Joey!)
