Day 23

Tonight we went to Sarah and Joe's for a Christmas celebration with Ohio grandpa. We had a fun time and the turkey was outstanding!

Day 22

Our Christmas celebrations begin tomorrow so today was my last organized activity for the kiddos. We made our last ornaments and paper santa clauses. The santa clauses turned out bad so I won't make them next year!

Day 21

We made Popsicle ornaments and went to another YFC Christmas party. A picture of all of us with Santa will be added after we get it!! Noah and C danced together as well!

Day 20

I bought these signs at a garage sale this summer. We finally got to decorating them for our 20th day!!

Day 19

My parents took the boys to a craft Christmas party on Saturday. They came home with crafts to do. We did them today and also made yummy holly treats!

Day 18

Today we started off at Christ the Rock then ended the Sabbath at Newlife. We did not know it was the Children's choir singing tonight so Jonah and Noah got to be on stage singing songs they were unprepared for but they handled it well!! We drove through the Nativity scene at the church down the road. We have done this for 3 years in a row. I absolutely love this and look forward to it all year!!! The last scene we hear a little voice "Hello Jonah". It was his teacher Mrs. Orser!!!

day 17

today was the YFC Christmas party. We all had a great time. The dessert auction was awesome. My parents took the boys to a party in the evening so Josh, C, and I went to another party. C got car sick and threw up on the way there so her and I turned around and came home. Just finished cleaning up the mess in the car seat. She seems to be ok now. No pics today. Super excited for the drive thru Nativity tomorrow night....one of my favorite activities.

C's daycare had a cute program. She was a sheep but I couldn't get a good picture. Santa arrived at the party and gave out candy canes. C was scared of him so here are the best shots!

Day 16

Today we were supposed to make a gingerbread train but we got impatient and just decorated the pieces and ate frosting and candy. The kids loved it and so did grandma and auntie Anna!

day 15

Today we made more ornaments. We took red balls painted them in a paint water mixture and then put glitter on them. They turned out cute. We also made a dessert test run for our white elephant on Saturday!

Day 14

Today was the Tacoma YFC foster care Christmas party. We had so much fun!! The kiddos were blessed with some awesome gifts.

Day 13

Today we made picture ornaments, decorated socks, and went to the first of 4 YFC Christmas parties.....Super fun!!!!

Day 12

Today we celebrated the birth of Jesus. We water colored nativity pictures, read about Jesus' birth and ate cake!!! Thank you Jesus we love you!!!!

Day 10 and 11

We have no pictures for these 2 days of activities because we have been child free!!! On day 10 the boys spent the night at Poppys for their activity. Day 11 they went to the Country Club Christmas party and went to see the Muppetts with my parents. If my mom took any pictures of the party I will post them tomorrow when we get the kiddos back. Josh and I went to a Christmas party for a board he serves on and tonight we are going to see a play at Christ the Rock. It has been a fantastic weekend and one that was quite needed!!

Day 9

Yummy Sugar cookies. This year I tried a new recipe and thought they were great!! We made only a few and I froze the rest of the dough so we can make them again closer to Christmas. The boys received a Christmas card from Santa in the mail!

Day 8

Today we met some friends at Donaldson for a play date. The boys ate ice cream with red sprinkles and we did an art project with white paint, cut outs, and a toothbrush. It didn't turn out very well but the had lots of fun!!

Day 7

We made dough ornaments..which the boys love!! Then we made my favorite...crayon ornaments. We had cocoa with candy canes as well. The boys had a blast!
