Lots of fun
We have had lots of fun in Washington. We went to the Washington State History museum, Ocean Shores, celebrated Christmas, visited friends/family, decorated cookies, made gingerbread houses, and played at the grandparents house. Below are pictures.

Funny

Someone wrote this about their two year old and I thought it was fitting and refreshing to know that we aren't alone!
If I want it, it's mine.
If I give it to you and change my mind later, it's mine.
If I can take it away from you, it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
If it's mine, it will never belong to anybody else, no matter what.
If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.
If it looks just like mine, it is mine.

Washington
Well, we have been in Washington for one week now and I haven't posted anything.I forgot my cord to download pics onto the computer so there will no pictures until we return to Ohio. The boys had a great time at the Country Club Christmas party. We have had a blast going to coffee, visiting family, going to church and going to lunch. The highlight of my trip was a baby free night to the ocean with my best friend Tina. We had a great time and I got 12 hours of sleep. It was a needed time to have a break and spend time with a dear friend! Thanks Tina and mom and dad (for babysitting)We are looking forward to doing more things next week. We have plans to go to the ocean, visit more family, take a train ride, make a ginger bread house and go to coffee with friends!!

15 months
Noah had his 15 month check up. He is right on track developmentally. He is saying the right amount of words and doing the right amount of things. He has grown 2 inches in 3 months and is 70th percentile in height. He is almost 22 pounds which makes him in the 20th percentile for weight. The doctor said he was doing great!!!

Love this
I had a friend send me this and I thought it was so true! I hope this lifts spirits!
MOTHERS
Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
they don't have time to make it.
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils
are probably in the sandbox.
Real Mothers often have sticky floors,
filthy ovens and happy kids.
Real Mothers know that dried play dough
doesn't come out of carpets.
Real Mothers don't want to know what
the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?'
and get their answer when a little
voice says, 'Because I love you best..'
Real Mothers know that a child's growth
is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother...
The Images of Mother
4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it!
35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she
shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

first snowy day.
We had some snow this morning but it didn't stick. After lunch it started again. It is sticking..if it doesn't melt the kids can play in it after nap. Here is what it looks like out windows and doors. (really big chunks falling)

Here is Noah all bundled..
We had our first snow flurries the other day. Jonah thinks he needs to wear a hat and snow boots if he sees snow. So here he is!

Not much going on.
Here are some updates:
Noah: is saying a few more words
He no longer walks but runs everywhere
He has another ear infection
He is sleeping 12.5 hours without any interruptions
Jonah: continues to love school
He gets a good report every week (apparently he is helpful)
He sings songs at home that they teach him at school
He talks about friends and his teachers
His vocabulary is growing leaps and bounds
Some days he does well on the potty (others not so well)
He finally stopped sleeping in a pack and play and he graduated to a queen bed
I am teaching 2 mornings a week and love it. On Thursdays I work with the 2 yer olds and on Friday the 4 year olds. One of the teachers I work with on Thursday has twin 2.5 year old boys (both in Jonah's class) and another boy only 13 months younger and I thought I had it hard!!!
That's all folks!!
