Finally!!

We finally decided to get a new double stroller (ours is being held together by duct tape). I have never really liked my Graco. It is big and cumbersome and I feel like I'm pushing a small island so needless to say I was quite excited when the stroller began to fall apart!! I have spent all week researching strollers...with a priority on lightweight!! Thanks to Tanya's help I think I have found the perfect stroller. It is the babyjogger city mini. It is a side by side compact double stroller. I will get it in a week..I'll tell you if I still love it. Babies r us has a demo for the stroller so if you are bored you can take a look at it. One downfall (not for us) is that it does not hold a car seat. Noah is past this age so it makes no difference to us. Other strollers to consider are the new Graco duo glider, a sit and stand if your child is older, phil and teds...great but expensive!, and the Eddie Bauer tandem all terrain. I opted for a side by side because I prefer the feel of it.

what color did you get?

We got red and black. It was our third choice but the first two were on back order. We also found a website that charged 50 less if you ordered the red one.

I am very happy that you have found the perfect double stroller... How fun it is that Noah is big enough now that you can get the lighter weight. See you in a few weeks!

We have the exact same double stroller(color even), and yes it is rather bulky, so that's great that you found something that will work better for you. Look forward to hearing how it all works out for you guys.

Hi, Brenda :o)

found your blog. Thanks for the nice comment on Alicia's blog... I really appreciated it.

We have an older Graco, too, which we're going to be trading in for the new Graco Quattro tour double strollers. We still need the ability to fit a carseat in our stroller, but I don't know if there is such thing as a perfect double stroller. If you find one, let me know ;o)
